MATERIALS, PRINTING & FINISHING

Printing & Finishing Capabilities for Labels and Paper Packaging

Review the printing methods, material considerations, finishing options and converting routes used for custom labels and paper packaging before sampling and bulk production.

Choose the production capability that fits your project.

The right route depends on the product, material, quantity, SKU count, artwork, finishing requirements and final application.
digital labels / multi-SKU

HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Printing

Our HP Indigo 6K+ supports flexible digital label production for multiple SKUs, version changes and selected short-to-medium runs where artwork agility and consistent print quality matter.
roll labels / repeat orders

Flexographic Label Printing

Flexographic production is considered for roll labels, repeat orders and medium-to-large runs where stable specifications, efficient output and converting requirements are confirmed in advance.
paper boxes / offset printing

Heidelberg Offset Printing

Heidelberg offset production supports folding cartons, paper sleeves and insert cards where paperboard selection, colour control and additional finishing need to be reviewed together.
matte or gloss / surface protection

Lamination & Protective Coatings

Matte, gloss, soft-touch and protective coating routes can be reviewed according to appearance, moisture exposure, scuff resistance, material and final product use.
gold or silver / premium detail

Foil Stamping & Metallic Effects

Foil stamping can add metallic detail to logos, names and selected design elements on labels, sleeves and paper packaging after artwork, tooling and registration are reviewed.
tactile finish / paperboard

Embossing & Debossing

Raised or recessed details can strengthen tactile presentation on selected paper labels, sleeves and cartons when the artwork area, paper structure and tooling are suitable.
spot gloss / special effects

Spot UV & Specialty Effects

Spot gloss, contrast effects and selected specialty finishing routes can highlight logos or design areas, subject to material, artwork detail, tooling and sample confirmation.
roll direction / converting

Die Cutting, Slitting & Rewinding

Label converting includes die cutting, waste removal, slitting and rewinding according to label size, roll direction, core requirements and hand or machine application.
lid and base / box assembly

Automated Rigid Box Forming

Automated rigid box forming is available for selected lid-and-base boxes, gift boxes and premium packaging projects after the structure, quantity, paper and finishing route are confirmed.
Production note: Final material, colour, tolerance and finishing decisions depend on artwork, quantity, SKU count, substrate, application and sample review. Equipment ownership and installed configurations should only be stated when they have been verified.

Choose the Production Route Around the Project

Printing equipment should not be selected by appearance alone. We first review the product, substrate, quantity, SKU count, artwork and finishing requirements, then coordinate the most suitable production and sampling route.

Review the label or packaging type, dimensions, material, quantity per SKU, application method, use environment and artwork status.

Use digital, flexographic or offset production according to run length, SKU complexity, substrate, colour requirements and repeat-order expectations.

Confirm lamination, coating, foil, embossing, spot effects, die cutting, roll specifications or box forming before samples and bulk production.

Printing & Finishing FAQ

It is commonly considered for multiple SKUs, version changes and selected short-to-medium label runs where flexible setup and consistent digital production are important. Final suitability depends on the material, colour requirements, finishing route and quantity.

Digital printing is often considered for shorter runs, multiple SKUs and frequent artwork changes. Flexographic printing is often considered for stable repeat orders and medium-to-large roll-label production. We review the specification before recommending a route.

Offset printing is commonly used for folding cartons, sleeves, insert cards and other paper packaging where paperboard, colour control and finishing need to be coordinated. The final route depends on structure, quantity and artwork.

Yes. Special finishes may require plates, dies, additional setup, registration control and separate sampling. They can affect cost, MOQ and production timing, so the finish should be reviewed before quotation.

We can coordinate colour references and finish direction across labels, boxes, sleeves and inserts. Exact visual identity cannot always be guaranteed because film, paper and paperboard reproduce colour and texture differently.

TC Pack uses confirmed in-house capabilities and selected production resources according to the project. Specific equipment ownership is stated only when verified, while TC Pack coordinates artwork, sampling, production, quality checks and export packing.

No. Lamination and protective coatings can improve surface protection, but final resistance depends on the label material, adhesive, container surface, use environment and sample review.

Please share the product type, label or packaging size, substrate, quantity, SKU count, artwork status, application surface, expected handling conditions and any required finish direction.

Yes. Foil, embossing, spot effects, lamination, die cutting and box forming should be reviewed before sampling so tooling, registration and production route can be checked early.

Not always. Film, coated paper, textured paper and paperboard can reproduce colour, gloss and texture differently, so colour references and sample review are important before bulk production.
